Before embarking on building Queen Bee Coffee to what it is today, Annie worked in the high octane, competitive world of journalism. Now heading up a team of hard working, initiative-toting baristas, we can confidently say we still operate with the upmost professionalism, friendliness and manners. With a can do attitude we go the extra mile for our clients, so they can confidently get on impressing theirs.
We hired the landrover defender and horse truck for a large corporate conference and outdoor exhibition catering for over 200 people, the quality of the coffee was second to none, and we had lots of positive comments! Annie was a pleasure to work with, efficient with all communication and stress free setup etc. we will definitely be using them again!
Annie at Queen Bee has provided delicious coffee and pastries for our two hour weekly meeting at our workplace. It has meant meetings have progressed more smoothly without the need to break for coffee. It has offered a hugely needed warm welcome and pick me up for the team. Seeing and smelling the coffee and pastries literally sends a ripple effect of smiles. This is the best investment we have made for the team snd a highlight of the week. Many people have asked to buy the coffee beans for home use. Annie has been flexible, accommodating and nothing is too much trouble. It has been simple to order and make payments.
For monthly lunch meetings she has provided delicious healthy Mediterranean vegetable pasta salads with clever recyclable bags with crisps, fruit, cake and delicious locally produced fruit juices plus more delicious coffee. I would highly recommend for any catering event. Thanks so much Annie!
We had a few gluten free and vegan people attending our event and Queen Bee Coffee accommodated this by baking her own! Fantastic service and so friendly- was such a pleasure to use QueenBee. Would use her services again.
One of the nicest, friendliest and kindest service you will ever receive. They provided endless enthusiasm for us as we planned (and then re-planned) our wedding this year. Delicious coffee and, according to our guests, the best hot chocolate that they have ever had! They have just been so lovely to work with, dealing with any COVID restrictions with such grace and flexibility. They even helped us have some gluten free bakes for our guests who have Coeliac's Disease!
I had Queen Bee coffee at my winter wedding 14.12.19. It was such a special touch to our day. I had the smart car which was pulled up right outside our venue and I had coffees hot chocolates and mulled wine after our ceremony. It brought such a magical Christmas feel to the day and our guests loved it. I also had personalised coffee sleeves and Queen Bee let me use these to personalise our day which was great of them. In a word: excellent. Coffee was superb, pastries were great, and Annie is the exact type of person you want to chat with before you’ve had your first cup of coffee in the morning. Kind, friendly, and patient with mental lapses in memory of lengthy coffee orders, she was a joy to see every morning. Definitely one of the highlights of our trip, we look forward to seeing her again when we are back in the area!
